Quinoa Crispies!

Hi there, Reader

This easy golden crispy crunchy quinoa is perfect for adding gorgeous texture and nutty toasty flavor to all kinds of sweet and savory meals. Keep some handy in the pantry so it's ready to sprinkle on anything and everything!

I absolutely love it scattered over green leafy salads or piled on a bowl of yogurt with roasted strawberries or stewed fruit. It's also really good on velvety creamy soups like my Broccoli Almond Soup (use the quinoa crispies instead of the toasted almonds).

If you're someone who always cooks too much quinoa (πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈlike me) then this is a great way to use it up. It will keep for a couple of weeks in an airtight jar.

I've been working on some great fall recipes that I can't wait to start sharing. There are 2 pumpkin ones that I'm particularly excited about. One savoury and one sweet. They'll be winging their way to you soon but until then, let's take a look back at some of this month's highlights on AVV! SEPTEMBER'S...

Hi there, Reader Spicy Chickpea Smash! So simple to make with only 3 ingredients (plus salt & pepper). You can have a batch made up in minutes! Put it in sandwiches and wraps, dollop it on a pile of greens or a baked potato. It's so yummy! My current fave way to eat it is as per the pic. On toast, with avocado, sprouts of some kind, a good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and lots of cracked black pepper. Click here for the recipe!
